If you read nothing else

Three things cause most of the support tickets we see. All three are quick to get right at the start and painful to change later.

  1. Set Prices include tax before entering any prices. It decides how every figure in Zitlin is read, and invoices already issued are not recalculated. See Property setup.

  2. One category per kind of room, never per price. Weekend and seasonal rates are handled by Pricing, not by duplicating categories — duplicates split your availability and let you oversell.

  3. Seasonal and weekday multipliers compound. A 1.50 season on a 1.50 Saturday is 2.25× your base rate, not 2×. See When more than one applies.
